Such a fun read! For a good 15 minutes last night I wondered about this mockingbird that perches itself in different neighbor’s trees and literally does its crazy chirps for hours late into the night undoubtably ruining my neighbors’ sleep. I made up all sorts of stories about why this happens. Is it starved for attention? Did he have a fight with a family member? Did it eat caffeinated berries? Is he the one bird who parties all night? And why don’t the other birds that are trying to sleep kick his ass out of the tree. This is my way of saying, I’m even nosy about the birds. If anyone knows why mockingbirds do this please share. Curiosity is killing me. 🤔
