Ironically, the people who profess to love diversity often put, consciously or not, a * next to those who are in age groups above them. They position themselves at the top and prefer only dealing with those who are younger than them. It’s a strange “I’m older than you” way of leading. They can’t picture themselves ever having to discipline an older person out of some crazy unresolved mom or dad issues. I feel your pain, especially last week interviewing for a copywriter job.
