I was in charge of removing “Adult-boy stink” from a bedroom and adjoining area at my sister’s vacation home she let her son’s friend live in rent-free for 3 months. First we waited to see if the stank would just resolve on its own. Two months later, still really bad. Ended up using commercial grade odor remover on floors, walls, ceiling. Washed curtains, bedding, furniture and even picture frames. It finally worked, but the memory lingers. He also ruined every towel, and burned the wood handles on all the pots and pans, and never lifted a finger to keep up the small yard outside. Seriously, the cleaning lady told on him and was going to charge more for his filth. Who gets told on by cleaning people? And a few months later he asked my sister if he could stay again. She didn’t let that happen. Nice guy. Bad smeller, and no manners. Great piece. Write on!
