An eye twitch-that’s my body’s tap on the shoulder to cut back after I’ve allowed my consumption to creep upwards. I pull it back to 1 cup (10oz - it’s important to note that so I don’t get a Big Gulp size) in the am and that’s it. Lucky for me I can do moderation, probably due to the well-honed deprivation skills gifted from childhood. Admittedly, coffee helps me pick the highest hanging fruit on my tree of creativity. Yes, it’s the dopamine, but I’ve learned too much dopamine flattens the effect making even low hanging fruit too far a reach. I consider it a built-in deterrent. ☕️ 😋
